With more than 500 Kilometers of coastline along the Andaman Sea,
choosing the ideal beach to stay in is probably the most difficult part
about a holiday in Thailand ! From Phuket to The isthmus of Kra, the area of Khao Lak offers miles and miles of pristine coastline, from lively and active to deserted ! From North to South the names of the beaches are : Bang Muang Beach Bang Sak Beach Pakarang Beach Khukkak Beach Bang Niang Beach Nang Thong Beach The first to develop was of course Nang Thong, but soon after followed by Bang Niang Beach, now fast becoming a rival to Khao Lak in terms of facilities and entertainment. But North of Khao Lak everything still remains at it's relaxed pace, with only a few bungalow resorts here and there in between virgin forests. |
